What this actually involves.
Carpet does not usually fail because it wears out. It fails because grit works down into the base of the pile and cuts the fibres from underneath every time somebody walks on it. Vacuuming lifts what is near the surface; extraction is what removes the rest and gets you the extra years.

Carpet & Upholstery — your questions
How long until the carpet is dry?
Typically four to eight hours with airflow. For commercial spaces that need to reopen immediately we use a low-moisture method instead and tell you which one we are proposing.
Will old stains come out?
Often, but not always — a stain that has dyed the fibre is different from soil sitting on it. We tell you which one you have before we start rather than after. One reviewer had what she called a horrible carpet stain, and it came out.
Do you do homes as well as businesses?
Yes. We are a commercial cleaning company first, but we do residential carpet, tile and floor work and several of our reviews are from homeowners.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes, and we put it back where it was. That is part of the job.
